Senior Care worker - Extra Care - £16500 Plus per annum - Romford area
Our client, an expanding quality driven highly regarded care provider, is now looking to recruit an experienced Senior Care worker for their prestigious Extra Care Development in the Romford area. You will need to be qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent, have strong leadership skills and have a genuine passion for quality care. You will need to be supportive of staff and have experience of conducting staff supervisions, staff rotas, mentoring and monitoring staff for quality care deliver. Excellent communication skills are required for this position as you will be communicating with families, care managers, external agencies staff and service users. Good IT skills are required along with a positive, enthusiastic and motivated approach. The role will involve carrying out visits and assisting with personal care if required, you will need to have the ability to keep accurate records for both staff and service users.
Good organisational skills and a cheerful approachable manner are required for this busy but very rewarding senior role. You will be working mainly 9-5 Monday to Friday but with some weekend work if required, this job role can be flexible with an earlier start and finish. You will receive excellent training, ongoing support and opportunities to develop your career further. You will work as part of the management team so will need to be decisive, focused and committed. You will need a good understanding of the CQC regs and care standards.
